A logo is more than just a design—it’s a crucial element of a brand’s identity, communicating its values, personality, and mission at a glance. For this project, collaborate closely with the client to develop a unique and impactful logo that aligns with their vision and resonates with their target audience. The goal is to craft a timeless and versatile logo that strengthens brand recognition and leaves a lasting impression.
Initial Client Conversation
During the initial conversation, the client expressed a clear vision for their logo, emphasizing the use of a triangle to symbolize collaboration and stability—key values they want their brand to convey. They also highlighted the importance of incorporating the concept of iterations, reflecting a process of continuous improvement and refinement. For the color palette, the client prefers a combination of powder blue, forest green, and white, aiming for a fresh yet grounded aesthetic.
Sketches
With the client’s vision in mind, the sketching process involved exploring different ways to incorporate triangles as a core design element. Since triangles symbolize collaboration and stability, the sketches experimented with various arrangements—interlocking, stacked, and dynamically connected—to visually reinforce these themes. To represent iterations, it was considered by patterns or subtle design elements that suggest progression, such as layered or evolving triangle shapes and arrows.
Feedback and Refinement
Based on the client’s feedback, the next steps focused on refining the preferred sketches to better align with their vision. The key elements that resonated with the client—such as the structure of the triangles, the representation of iterations, and the overall balance—were carefully analyzed to guide the revisions. Adjustments were made to the preferred sketches to further explore more variations of them. Polished digital versions of the refined concepts were then created, ensuring clarity and versatility. These refined iterations were prepared for the next round of client review to further narrow down the final direction.
Logo Variations
With the refined concepts approved, the final logo variations were developed. Each variation maintained the core elements that resonated with the client—triangles representing collaboration and stability, a circle of arrows as a visual nod to iterations, and a pen icon in the center of it all to represent the creativity of the client. Attention was given to fine details, including line weights, spacing, and symmetry, to ensure a polished and professional appearance. Different logo variations were created to demonstrate versatility, including full-color, detailed and simplified versions suitable for various applications such as print, digital media, and branding materials.
