
Aroma Naturals
Packaging design for aromatherapy brand Aroma Naturals.
Select and obtain a product that is in need of packaging redesign. Create three variations, whether by flavor, scent, or other relations. In addition to the packaging redesign, it must include a set of mock-up images showing from multiple angles. For this project, Aroma Naturals desperately needed new packaging, especially for their Citronella candle, packed in a plain bright orange box with a text-heavy side and unappealing imagery.

Current Citronella Packaging
The packaging of Aroma Naturals Citronella candles is in need of a redesign. The current packaging lacks aesthetic appeal and does not communicate the product's features and benefits effectively. The use of unappealing, unremarkable graphics and type fails to capture the attention of potential customers and does little to differentiate the product from its competitors. Additionally, the packaging fails to highlight important information such as burn time, fragrance notes, and eco-friendliness. Such a redesign would better communicate the product's value proposition and help it stand out on store shelves.
Redesigned
The new design features a modern fashion section type, and hand-drawn illustrations of ingredients have been added to two corners of the box, providing customers with a visual representation of the flower or herb used in each candle flavor. In addition, meaningful information about each candle is now presented in a visually pleasing table format that is easy to read and understand. The brand's mission statement is also prominently displayed on one side of the package, further emphasizing Aroma Naturals' commitment to quality and sustainability.
